This green, waffle-shaped PET strapping is of machine quality and is therefore extremely versatile. In addition to strapping individual packages , it is also ideal for pallet strapping single- or multi-layer packages , particularly those with light to medium weights. Compared to PP strapping, PET straps have a significantly lower elongation of only around 15 percent and greater tear and splice resistance . Thanks to its high stiffness, it can also be easily fed under pallets. The linear breaking force of this PET strap, which basically depends on the strap thickness and width, is around 272 kg. Due to its narrow width, it is suitable for most manual and automatic strapping tools, such as a reel tensioner or a battery-powered strapping tool suitable for PET straps.

The tape can also be loaded into a dispenser , which greatly aids handling. This requires that the dispenser is suitable for tape rolls with a core diameter of 406 mm . To reinforce the edges of particularly delicate outer packaging, we recommend using suitable edge protectors made of metal, plastic, or even particularly inexpensive cardboard . This is useful for bulk orders and storage: 48 of these rolls fit on each pallet.
