Advantages of PET strapping
PET strapping can be used to produce very fast and stable strapping, even for heavy packages. Another advantage compared to steel strapping is the shock reserve that is required during load changes, for example when a lorry brakes hard. In addition to the more favourable price in a direct comparison , the elastic recovery of shrinking packages such as drying wood offers a further advantage over steel strapping.
As PET does not rust, the strapping does not leave any marks on sensitive surfaces. There is also less risk of injury and it can be disposed of easily via the yellow recycling bin. The main areas of application for green PET strapping are medium-sized and large companies in the logistics and industry with a high volume of palletised goods.

Plastic strapping versions
PET strapping can be sealed in different ways after strapping. Either by means of a sleeve seal and manual strap tensioner or with a battery-powered strapping tool as well as with stationary strapping machines by friction sealing using the friction welding process or a thermal element as a welding tongue.pET pallet strapping is therefore much quicker and easier than strapping with composite strapping or hot melt strapping, as there is no need to thread it into a metal clamp.
Properties of PP strapping
This plastic strap (plastic strapping) is ideal for semi-automatic or automatic strapping machines. In addition to the classic areas of application (e.g. bundling files), PP strapping can also be used as export packaging (e.g. for cartons). Our strapping can be wound onto all standard dispenser trolleys or automatic strapping machines. strapping is usually ordered on pallets in rolls, but we also offer PP strapping in practical dispenser boxes for smaller order quantities or for mobile use. The dispenser boxes are available from us with strap widths of 12mm and 16mm with 1000m of plastic packaging strap per box.
