The original Sandax PP Level 2 dunnage bags impress with their robust workmanship and are the ideal solution for reliable load securing. They consist of a durable outer shell made of PP (polypropylene) and an inner PE/LDPE inliner, which ensures high impermeability and additional stability.

Thanks to the lamination, the dunnage bag also offers a noticeably better feel and is particularly easy to handle in daily use.

The Level 2 version is ideal for light to medium loads and is particularly in demand for demanding transport conditions in industrial and export logistics.

Sizes, packaging & customised products

Sandax PP dunnage bags Level 2 are available in several common standard sizes, for example 60 x 90 cm (350 pieces per pallet), 90 x 120 cm, 90 x 180 cm, 90 x 210 cm, 90 x 120 cm or 120 x 180 cm, so that gaps of different sizes in containers or lorries can be filled precisely. The packaging units are designed for professional use in warehouses and loading, which makes planning and handling in day-to-day business even easier.

For large orders, special sizes can also be manufactured on request, such as particularly narrow, wide or extra-long dunnage bags. This allows the dunnage cushions to be tailored precisely to typical pallet dimensions, load carriers and industry-specific requirements.

Level 2 dunnage bags are used wherever cavities between loading units need to be filled professionally and in accordance with standards. Typical applications include sea freight containers, long-distance lorry transport, rail transport and combined transport with mixed pallets, crates and general cargo.

Benefits for load securing

By securely filling the gaps, Sandax Level 2 dunnage bags ensure that the load is held securely in place, minimise movement and significantly reduce transport damage and complaint rates. Compared to wooden wedges, they save time, weight and storage space and can be deployed particularly quickly.

How it works:

Insert the dunnage bag into the gap between pallets, crates or between the load and the container wall.
Fill with compressed air via the valve until the gap is tightly filled and a secure hold is achieved.
After transport, deflate the dunnage bag, fold it flat and – depending on its condition – reuse it.

In combination with other load securing equipment such as lashing straps, strapping bands or anti-slip mats, this creates a professional, standard-compliant overall system for load securing that is optimally tailored to the requirements of modern transport and export logistics.
